GET TO KNOW

About Me

A veteran of Broadway (Tzeitel in Fiddler On the Roof with Topol), Off-Broadway (original Sarah Goldman in Beau Jest; the Lambs Theatre revival of Godspell, directed by Don Scardino; The Education of Hyman Kaplan, directed by Lonny Price) and many regional theatre productions, Laura loves storytelling in all its forms and facilitating that as an actor/singer/voice artist/teaching artist.

Laura performed in the Broadway Labs of Wallenberg, directed by Martin Charnin and The Trouble With Doug, directed by Victoria Clark.  She recently appeared in the HBO film, BAD EDUCATION, starring Hugh Jackman, Ray Romano and Allison Janney.  In the spring of 2023, Laura will play Sarah Stillman in a new anthology series on Apple TV + called Extrapolations, along with David Schwimmer, Daveed Diggs, Judd Hirsch and Judy Gold. She can be seen as Medical Examiner, Alicia Stark, MD on the reboot of the original Law and Order on NBC.

Laura loves working with actors, particularly as a Teaching Artist – Laura headed up the Teen Conservatory at The Play Group Theatre, an acclaimed children’s theatre in White Plains, NY.  She is proud to have been a co-creator, director and actor in the Brave New World Repertory Theatre’s Zoom production of Over & Above: Women Over 55 Speak (an evening of monologues), which included Laura San Giacomo, Blair Brown and Tamara Tunie. Currently, Laura is loving narrating audiobooks, which can be found on Audible.

Laura holds a BFA in Drama/Music Theatre from Carnegie Mellon University. An ebullient introvert, she is at home on any stage or in front of the camera, but also truly enjoys anything having to do with home…cooking, knitting, reading and hanging with family.  Laura’s best productions:  Gabby, Grant and Hannah (proud mama here)!
